Using a stylus with a tablet or smartphone has never really been something I have wanted to do. Typing on a physical or virtual keyboard has always been my preference.

I think the biggest argument for using a stylus on the iPad can be made when you show someone the Paper app. It’s screams for a stylus. A stylus such as the LunaTik Touch Pen.

It’s amazing to me how so many different people have just as many different uses for the iPad. As an example, Diet Coda allows Web developers to code and test entire Web sites from the iPad. The iPad, originally thought of as a consumption only device, is quickly turning into a very powerful tool. With the full picture of how the iPad will end up being used still being painted, accessories are coming out hoping to capitalize on the momentum. I haven’t used a stylus since I finally gave up using Palm OS devices, almost a decade ago. The advanced touch screens and interfaces of today, are made to be be used with fingers, rather than with a stylus. But when I began to play Draw Something, it occurred to me that it’d be much easier to play on a 10-inch tablet with a stylus, than on a 4-inch screen with my fingers.
