Baby monitors, with nothing more than a simple audio feed, are slowly becoming a thing of the past. The future of baby monitoring will rely on video feeds, with night vision cameras and even two-way communication to aid in soothing your child.

Recently I placed the BabyPing Video Monitor next to the crib in our house; read on to find out my thoughts.

ZAGGkeys PRO Keyboard3 Stars

As a writer I use a keyboard all day long, be it a Bluetooth connected keyboard with my iPad, or Apple’s wireless keyboard. It’s a crucial piece of my workflow.

After reviewing the Kensington KeyFolio Expert Keyboard for the iPad, I fell in love with the workflow it enabled. Then I reviewed the Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover and fell in love with it again. But, one downfall I later realized of the Logitech keyboard (and Kensington, for that matter) was the lack of backlit keys. Enter the ZAGGkeys PROPlus. It’s a Bluetooth keyboard for the iPad 2, 3 or 4; complete with a full-sized backlit keyboard. Here’s how it stacks up.

Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover5 Stars

As I have told you before, in the past I had been a bit hesitant of using a physical keyboard with the iPad. The screen, the user interface, the entire product was designed to be touched. And I was OK with that. Then I reviewed the Kensington KeyFolio Expert Keyboard and I began to gain an appreciation of the added capabilities a Bluetooth keyboard brings to the iPad. I received the Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover a few weeks ago and have been using it since. Read on to find out how it compared.

Do you feel smarter yet?

I was fortunate enough to get a prototype version of Smarter Stand sent to me courtesy of Dotan Saguy.

Kensington KeyFolio Expert Bluetooth Keyboard

There’s much debate across the Internet when it comes to the iPad being a content creation device. One of the biggest hurdles that will need to be overcome for it to be considered a content created device is the lack of a physical keyboard.  I recently started leaving my MacBook Air home when traveling, taking only my iPad, I often times found myself missing a physical keyboard. Recently, I was able to get my hands on the Kensington KeyFolio Expert (henceforth will be referred to as simply, KeyFolio). Read on for our full review.

Color Splash Studio Splash Screen4 stars

When looking through the App Store, one thing is abundantly clear, there is no shortage of photo apps for iOS devices. Some apps are a huge hit and do a great job, while others aren’t as fortunate — be it regarding the former and/or the latter. I recently was sent a review copy of Color Splash Studio to see how it stacked up. Read on to find out more.

It’s amazing to me how so many different people have just as many different uses for the iPad. As an example, Diet Coda allows Web developers to code and test entire Web sites from the iPad. The iPad, originally thought of as a consumption only device, is quickly turning into a very powerful tool. With the full picture of how the iPad will end up being used still being painted, accessories are coming out hoping to capitalize on the momentum. The Nomad Brush Compose is no exception; this paintbrush stylus aims to make artists feel at home. How does it do? Well, you’re just going to have to read on to find out.
